N/NE Quadrant Concept Alternative Surveys

The N/NE Quadrant Project is moving along, and needs your feedback now!

As you may have heard over that course of the previous half-year, City planners have been working on an update for the N/NE Quadrant of the Central City. The project has facilitated numerous workshops and visited with neighborhood groups. Now, project staff have compiled the concepts into a Concept Alternatives Workbook, available here. Scroll down through this post to review, and be sure to see the “Subareas” which allow a more fine-grained approach to analyzing the concepts and potential changes. For more complete links, please see the project website at

N/NE Quadrant Concept Alternative Surveys

Help plan the future of Lower Albina and the Lloyd District! Based on ideas captured at previous events and meetings, the N/NE Quadrant area could develop over time. Key choices for specific areeas area also highlighted.

Review the Concept Alternatives Workbook, then take the online surveys to provide feedback. The quadrant-wide survey seeks feedback about how the quadrant could develop as a whole over time, and the subarea surveys will help us work out the future details of eight specific subareas. Read more about the surveys…

Quadrant-wide Survey

This survey is designed to get your feedback about three N/NE quadrant-wide concept alternatives that have been developed to illustrate different development patterns that could occur over time. The survey questions are divided into four categories:

  1. districts/places

  2. mobility

  3. open space

  4. green systems

Please see pages 312 in the Concept Alternatives Workbook to view concept maps and other important information about the concept alternatives.

Subarea Surveys

The subarea surveys are designed to get your feedback about major land use, urban design and local transportation choices for eight different subareas within the N/NE Quadrant. Please see pages 1323 in the Concept Alternatives Workbook to view important background information for each subarea.
