Columbia River Crossing advances to Oregon Senate

The Columbia River Crossing bill HB 2800 passed the Oregon House of Representatives and is due for a vote in the Senate shortly. While the Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods is not pleased with this development, we are proud of the stance Representative Lew Frederick took with his No vote on HB 2800. Thank you Representative Frederick!

The Willamette Week continues to cover the CRC, with an investigation into a key supporter, Patricia McCaig. Read it here.

Oregon State Senator Chip Shields is still undecided on the CRC project, and needs to hear from you today. To review NECN’s points of concern on the CRC, please see our CRC Action Page, which also has contact information for Portland area legislators.
