Happy Holiday Season!
The Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods board and staff wish everyone a wonderful season and a New Year filled with health, happiness and community! In 2012 we have been thrilled to work with a vast network of volunteers in supporting grassroots community-building projects and civic engagement! Together, just a few of the things we accomplished this year were:
- Provided $30,444 in small grant and graffiti abatement funds to support 15 incredible community projects in cooperation with ONI.
- Hosted a dynamic workshop series about local economic development resources and opportunities.
- Linked over 200 neighbors with emergency preparedness resources at the Resilience PDX Expo.
- Connected hundreds of constituents with candidates for mayor and city council positions at two lively forums.
All of this and so much more! In 2013, we will continue to promote civic engagement, develop volunteer leadership capacity, engage in advocacy, and foster community projects. With your help, we can do more! Please consider making a donation* to support this work!
