Boise neighborhood is in North Portland between I-5 and MLK Blvd with Fremont Street as its southern border and Skidmore Street to the north. Boise is a diverse neighborhood and former streetcar district. Its main commercial streets and destinations are Mississippi and Williams Avenues. Among the businesses and services located in Boise are: Albina Youth Opportunity School, Mississippi Studios, Amnesia Brewery, Pistils Nursery, Self Enhancement Inc., and the Rebuilding Center, as well as many cafés, restaurants and shopping. Each summer, vendors, artisans and local businesses host the Mississippi Street Fair extending from Fremont to Skidmore Street.
