Community Grants

NECN wants to give you $1,000!
NECN will award 5 grants of $1,000 each for collaborative projects that improve the quality of life in our 12 Inner North/Northeast Portland neighborhoods.

Grant applications due March 14, 2014, at 5:00pm.

Funding decisions are based on projects’ potential to:

  • Improve quality of life for a broad group of residents/participants – socially, culturally, economically, or otherwise;
  • Create or utilize partnerships among groups that haven’t traditionally worked together; and
  • Advance the leadership of historically underrepresented communities, including people of color, immigrants and refugees, low-income residents, youth, people with disabilities, and lesbian, gay, bi and transgender people.
