Clean-ups Spring 2014

This year, all 12 neighborhoods in our Coalition area are hosting a clean-up, listed below in chronological order. Read below for information on dates, times, locations and materials accepted.

King

Saturday, April 26, 9am-1pm
$15/car, $25/pickup or van, $35/for a truck. We can also take tires for $5/each with a limit of 4 per household.

N Police Precinct, 449 NE Emerson.

We accept household goods, metal, styrofoam, electronics, re-usable furniture, household items and re-usable building materials, non-curbside plastic

Eliot

Sunday, April 27, 11am-3pm
$5-20 and up, depending on size of load

N Graham at the corners of Williams and Vancouver

We accept household goods, metal, miscellaneous debris and reusable furniture and clothing.

 Vernon

Saturday, May 3, 9am-1pm
$10/car, $20/pick-up

Redeemer Lutheran, NE 20th & Killingsworth

We accept household goods and metal. We will be having Kitchen & Garden Tool Sharpening at our event by 1 Sharptool Edge Service. Prices range from $6.25-$15. Twenty-five percent of proceeds will go to VNA!

Humboldt

Saturday, May 3, 9am-2pm
$10/car, $20/truck or trailer

PCC Cascade parking lot at N. Killingsworth and N. Michigan (officially 1001 N Killingsworth). This is the parking lot on the east side of the Telegraph Exchange Building.

We accept household goods, metal, electronics, reusable items: clothes, furniture, etc. No refrigerators/freezers, yard waste, electronics or tires, please.

Irvington

Saturday, May 10, 9am-2pm
Ddonations accepted

Holladay Park Church, 2120 NE Tillamook, entrance on NE 21st

We accept household goods, metal, tires, electronics. Reusable items accepted for our “too good to toss” pile include electronics, bikes, household goods, clothing, etc.

Sullivan’s Gulch

Saturday, May 10, 9am-1pm
$5-20 depending on size of load

Holladay Park Plaza Employee Parking Lot, 1220 NE 17th Ave.

We accept household goods, styrofoam, e-waste, CFC lightbulbs, metal. No yard debris, please.

Alameda

Saturday, May 17, 9am-2pm
$20/load

Madeline School, NE 24th and Klickitat

We accept household goods, metal,tires, electronics, reusable items: furniture, construction materials, clothes. No paint, hazardous waste or yard debris.

Grant Park Saturday, May 17, 9am-1pm
$10/Car or small amount, $20/truck, van or trailer
Grant Park Baptist Church parking lot, 2728 NE 34th Ave (at NE Knott)We accept household goods (furniture, clothes, etc), wood waste (yard debris), metal, electronics, tires, construction materials, batteries, swap, foam, CFL bulbs (not tubes), waste.
 Concordia

Saturday, May 17, 8am-12:30pm
$10 and up, depending on load of vehicle. Extra $5 for electronics and batteries. See note about tool sharpening, below.

PCC Workforce Training Center, 5600 NE 42nd

We accept household goods, metal, electronics, plastics not accepted @ curbside, CFLs, halogen, mixed fluorescent bulbs, mixed batteries, reusable Items: furniture, clothes, etc.

We will offer kitchen & garden tool sharpening at our event by 1 Sharptool Edge Service. Prices range from $6.25-$15. Twenty-five percent of proceeds from this service will go to CNA!

Woodlawn

Saturday, May 24, 9am-2pm
$10-30 depending on size of load

Saturday, May 31, 9am-2pm
Walkups free. First bike load free. $5/load after. Small car loads: $10. Large truck/van loads: $30 base fee plus extra depending on size.

Unthank Park, 501 N Failing St.

We accept household goods, construction debris, styrofoam, CFL lightbulbs, metal, electronics, yard waste. We will have a free pile for reusable Items: furniture, clothes, etc.

Sabin

Saturday, May 31, 10am-2pm
$20 and up, depending on load of vehicle. Sliding scale available.

Maranatha Church, NE 12th and Skidmore, 4222 NE 12th Ave.

We accept household goods, yard waste, metal, electronics, clean wood and reusable items: furniture, construction materials, clothes, etc.
