Volunteers needed for Coalition for a Livable Futures’s Regional Equity Atlas

Regional Equity Atlas
Additional Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are needed to support the development of CLFs second edition of the Regional Equity Atlas. Atlas 2.0 will be a web-based database and mapping tool that stakeholders will be able to use to analyze how well different populations across the region can access key resources necessary for meeting their basic needs and advancing their health and well-being.  By illuminating the regions geography of opportunity, the project will provide a powerful tool for promoting greater regional equity. CLF has been gathering input from stakeholders on what indicators the Atlas should map, and we have been working with Portland State Universitys Institute for Portland Metropolitan Studies to identify data sources for these indicators. Now we need help from volunteers to get the data ready to map.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help with the following task

  • Data entry and data cleanup: Requires basic knowledge of Excel as well as patience and attention to detail.

Most of the work could be done from your home computer or at CLFs office, based on your preference. To sign up, or for more information, contact Scott Ellis at scotty.a.ellis@gmail.com
